Amber: Jack, can you give a specific example of
how ATBD has helped an airline?
Jack: Sure, we've been successful in facilitating
the competition between suppliers of airplanes, engines, and major
components for the airplanes.
And in addition to that we've facilitated competitions for suppliers
of support services, which would include things like heavy maintenance,
line maintenance, spare parts, warranty support, field representation,
engineering services, and a host of other things which were achieved at
lower cost or no cost than would have been the case had ATBD not been
part of the equation.
