John Judge: Been There, Done That
Charles E. Taylor Award
David Hopkins: John, tell us more
about the Charles E. Taylor Award you won recently from the FAA (Federal
Aviation Administration).
John Judge: Yes, the Charles E. Taylor Award is an award
given to individuals who have accumulated 50 years of continued service in
the aviation safety end of the business. I was recently awarded that
presentation at a presentation at Tarrant Junior College where I teach
part-time.
Through the years of working for American Airlines for over 40 years, with
PCC and with Air Transport Business Development, I was submitted for the
award and received it and was very proud of it. Charles Taylor was the
first power plant mechanic for the Wright Brothers and the award is given to
those who have professional integrity and safety of aviation through the years.
